Hart Square, the leading specialist technology consultancy for the non-profit sector, today announces its divestment from the ClearCourse Group, by acquisition of Alan Perestrello.
This acquisition represents an important milestone for Hart Square and its commitment to providing unwavering, independent advice and high-quality services around the strategic, CRM, digital and technology challenges facing non-profit organisations. With Alan’s support, Hart Square will continue to build on the success of the organisation thus far; to be a valued and trusted voice in the sector.
“Following the acquisition, Hart Square clients can expect the same high-quality services and a smooth transition as we move forward. We have focused on ensuring the fantastic Hart Square team have been retained and that there is minimal, if any, disruption to our clients. We have some exciting plans, including enhancing our events programme, and I am excited to embark on this new chapter with Hart Square.” – Alan Perestrello
Alan Perestrello fulfils the role of Managing Director at Hart Square, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise, in both technology and the sector. As the founder of a leading provider of CRM software and digital strategy consultancy, Alan has worked closely with the non-profit sector for the last 14 years. During this time, he has delivered digital transformation projects for leading charities and membership associations and institutes, regulatory and awarding bodies and trade unions.
Following the acquisition of his company Trillium, by ClearCourse, Alan was appointed Commercial Director for Membership Services covering nine technology brands that served the sector. Whilst this position gave Alan a deepened experience of the sector, Alan desired to again work more closely with clients and their transformation projects. Having worked alongside Hart Square for over 10 years as a vendor, Alan has seen firsthand the value that Hart Square has provided its clients and was compelled to acquire Hart Square when the opportunity arose.
“I have always seen the value an independent Hart Square provides to their clients, and to the sector, through their trusted expertise and experience. So, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join such a fantastic team and to work with such great clients. My goal is to build on the trusted and critical friend Hart Square has always been to the non-profit and membership sectors.” – Alan Perestrello
“Having been involved in most of Hart Square’s development through its lifetime, I’m incredibly happy that we have a new owner committed to maintaining and building upon the great work we’ve done within the NFP space. Alan’s background and drive perfectly aligns with our core ethos and sector focus, and I’m excited about the opportunities this next phase will provide us, and the many organisations we support.” – Chris Gilbert, Head of Practice, Hart Square
Hart Square will seek to develop and expand its educational offerings through events and conferences and continue to build relationships with technology partners in the sector. We will shortly be announcing an exciting and innovative program of events to re-establish this key element of our history and expertise.
As the existing Hart Square team remains, clients can expect the same dedication, high-quality service and in-depth expertise that Hart Square has always provided.
